Many connections already happen on a daily basis – someone ordering from a local bakery or looking at new products from a clothing store. – But the way this happens in WhatsApp is still very rudimentary. We hear stories of sellers who use WhatsApp to contact hundreds of customers through a single mobile device, and of users who are not sure if a company’s WhatsApp account is true or not. Therefore, WhatsApp tests tools that must solve some of these challenges, making communication between companies and people easier in the application. “We want to apply what we learn by helping people connect with each other to help them also connect with the companies that are important to them,” the text says.
